- The Borough of Hatboro lost one of its finest earlier today. Sergeant James Petrik passed away early in the morning of March 30th after becoming suddenly ill. - The new primary election date is June 2, 2020
- The deadline to register to vote is May 18th.
- The Department of Homeland Security has extended the enforcement date of Real IDs to October 1, 2021. On and after October 1, 2021, all Pennsylvania residents must have a PA Real ID License, Real ID Card, Passport, Passport Card, or Military ID to board a flight of any kind or visit a federal building that requires identification.

- There are still no confirmed positive cases in Hatboro.
- The Borough of Hatboro has implemented a new trash collection schedule to begin on Monday, March 30th. Residents will now have trash collection and recycling collection once per week as follows:
- Residents with Monday Recycling pickup will have trash collected only on Mondays.
- Residents with Tuesday recycling pickup will have trash collected only on Tuesdays.
- Residents with Thursday Recycling pickup will have trash collected only on Thursdays.
- Residents with Friday Recycling pickup will have trash collected only on Fridays.
- The Borough of Hatboro will be hosting the Virtual Town Hall on Facebook tonight, March 26th at 6:30 PM.
Wednesday, March 25, 2020 Update:
- As of Wednesday, March 25, 2020 there are a total of 1,127 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in the state of Pennsylvania. This is an increase of 276 cases since March 24th. There is a total of 12 deaths in Pennsylvania.
- As of Wednesday, March 25 there are a total of 60 new positive cases in Montgomery County for a total number of cases of 219. One new death was also reported. This death was an 84 year old male in Abington.
- Montgomery County has a total of two deaths due to COVID-19.
- Due to an increase in testing availability, Montgomery County has relaxed Coronavirus testing requirements as follows:
- Persons of any age and with symptoms of sudden illness (such as fever OR cough OR shortness of breath OR loss of smell/taste including gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea OR vomiting OR diarrhea) with or without fever
- First responder (law enforcement, fire, EMS, or dispatcher) AND concern for exposure to a patient with suspected COVID-19 OR symptoms of any sudden illness with or without fever
- Healthcare worker providing direct patient care AND concern for exposure to a patient with suspected COVID-19 OR symptoms of any sudden illness with or without fever
- Anyone with known or suspected direct contact to someone with COVID-19
- Anyone who has been recommended by their doctor to get tested
- Montgomery County has reached capacity of testing for March 25th. Registrations will open this evening for testing on March 26, 2020 and testing will be limited. To register, click here.
- Borough Council will be holding a Council Meeting on Tuesday, March 31 at 7:00 PM in Borough Hall. Residents are encouraged to watch this meeting from home. Public Comment can be made through the facebook live stream or by calling 215-443-9100 during the live stream. Those who are ill will not be permitted in the building during the meeting.

Tuesday, March 24, 2020 Update:
- As of Tuesday, March 24, 2020 there are a total of 851 positive cases of COVID-19 in the state of Pennsylvania. This is an increase of 207 cases compared to March 23rd.

- As of Tuesday, March 24, 2020 there are a total of 158 positive COVID-19 cases in Montgomery county.
- This is an increase of 23 cases since March 23rd
- Montgomery County has one confirmed COVID-19 death.

Monday, March 23, 2020 Update:
- Governor Tom Wolf has issued a stay at home order for Montgomery County, Bucks County, Delaware County, Chester County, Allegheny County, and Monroe County. This stay at home order means residents should remain in their homes unless they are engaging in any of the following activities:
- Tasks essential to maintain health and safety, or the health and safety of their family or household members (including pets), such as obtaining medicine or medical supplies, visiting a health care professional, or obtaining supplies they need to work from home
- Getting necessary services or supplies for themselves, for their family or household members, or as part of volunteer efforts, or to deliver those services or supplies to others to maintain the safety, sanitation, and essential operation of residences
- Engaging in outdoor activity, such as walking, hiking or running if they maintain social distancing
- To perform work providing essential products and services at a life-sustaining business
- To care for a family member or pet in another household
- Any travel related to the provision of or access to the above-mentioned individual activities or life-sustaining business activities
- Travel to care for elderly, minors, dependents, persons with disabilities, or other vulnerable persons
- Travel to or from educational institutions for purposes of receiving materials for distance learning, for receiving meals, and any other related services
- Travel to return to a place of residence from an outside jurisdiction
- Travel required by law enforcement or court order.
- Travel required for non-residents to return to their place of residence outside the commonwealth

- Health care or medical services providers
- Access to life-sustaining services for low-income residents, including food banks
